The Registrar's Office is part of the Academics Office and is responsible for processing and maintaining all official student records including high school and prior college transcripts, requests for DeVry transcripts, and all administrative reports involving student status.
It is also the repository for all student files, active and inactive. In addition, the office verifies
the completion and accuracy of all registration paperwork. The Office also handles:
- Loan deferments
- Change of address
- Verification of enrollment and satisfactory progress
- Transfer Credits
All requests by students regarding their school registration and records should be directed to the Registrar's Office, which is located on the second floor in the Academic area.

You can obtain transcript request forms or verification of enrollment request forms from the Academic Receptionist until 6PM weekdays and 1PM on Saturdays.

Policy on Privacy Rights and Access to Education Records
DeVry respects the rights and privacy of its students and acknowledges the responsibility to maintain confidentiality of personally identifiable information. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974, as amended (the ACT), is a Federal law that allows students to review certain documents of their education records maintained by DeVry. This law also provides that the institution will maintain the confidentiality of the students' records. DeVry, Inc.
reserves the right to revise this policy in accordance with the ACT at any time. Details of DeVry's compliance with the ACT can be obtained from the Registrar's Office.
In accordance with Federal Law, DeVry canNOT accept e-mailed transcript requests, because by law transcript requests require a signature. Also, transcripts cannot be released if there is a financial hold on the student's account.
Transcript Request Forms
You can obtain a transcript request form from the academic receptionist or from the registrar's office. You can also download/print a transcript request form online. Fax the completed form to (510)574-1130 or mail to:

There is a $5 transcript fee per transcript request. You can charge this transcript fee to a credit card by calling (510)574-1270 or by including a check with your request. Processing time is usually 2 to 5 business days.
