The Student Activity Center (SAC) is located on the second floor,
across from the Student Finance office. The SAC sponsors many activities
throughout the semester along with providing resources for interested
students to implement their own ideas for activities. Some activities
which have been offered are programming contest, summer BBQ, Ms. & Mr.
DeVry, Poetry Slam, Pizza day, and much more. Discount opportunities
are also available in the SAC office for Magic Mountain, Great America
and Six Flags.
The SAC offers computer to play video games, board games, a big
screen TV, couches to relax between classes and a large meeting area
of clubs or study groups.

Student Clubs & Professional Organization
Performing Arts Club (PAC) paclub@fre.devry.edu
The P.A.C. is aimed at developing music skills, enhancing arts, and integrating
performance into live shows to promote DeVry activities. They meet weekly
for a jam session where club member's play an instruments, act, sing, and
dance. The club members learn valuable professional performance skills including
how to set up a live venue and valuable industry tips.
Christians on Campus (COC) christianclub@fre.devry.edu
The purpose of DeVry Christians on Campus is to understand and share the will
and love of God by studying His Word, the Bible. Activities include prayer
and non-judgmental group discussion of Bible chapters. Meetings are held
for one hour weekly with all invited to attend.
Latino American Student Organization (LASO) lasoclub@fre.devry.edu
The Latino American Student Organization's purpose is to provide support while
encouraging the pursuit of higher learning, to help members with whatever
they need, all the while acquiring valuable contacts and experience. They
have bi-weekly meetings for all interested students. The L.A.S.O. club also
has quest speakers, fundraisers, and planned social events outside of school
for all members and their families.
National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) nsbeclub@fre.devry.edu
NSBE is about increasing interest and furthering the advancement of all ethnic
minorities in the professional and technical industry. They feature off-campus
socials, scholarship seminars, guest speaker series, and a peer tutorial
program. All students are invited to their bi-monthly meetings.
Telecommunications Club tcomclub@fre.devry.edu
The DeVry Telecommunications Club strives to add a new perspective to the Tcom
major by learning about new telecommunications technology and applications.
Activities include guest speakers, field trips, fundraisers, and networking
competitions. Certification study groups and meetings are held weekly in
the Tcom lab. Students of all majors are invited to attend if they have an
interest in Tcom or wish to further their skills.

The Hmong Club's purpose is to promote academic achievement, brotherhood, and
social interaction among people of different ethnic heritage. They also strive
to develop a sense of identity for Hmong on campus as well as providing incite
into the Hmong culture.
Pacific Islanders Club pacislandclub@fre.devry.edu
The United Islanders Club goals are to promote unity and solidarity amongst
students, to establish ethnic pride, to promote leadership and self-reliance,
and establish a cultural awareness in its members and the community.
